Dear Lakota Families,

As we embark on a new school year, I am filled with anticipation and excitement to welcome each scholar and their families to the Lakota community. Our mission remains steadfast: to create an environment where scholars can learn, thrive, and succeed. It is our commitment to provide rigorous, standards-based, culturally responsive instruction that empowers every scholar to reach their fullest potential. At Lakota, we believe that every scholar deserves to be seen, valued, and heard, and to feel a strong sense of belonging. Our guiding principles of Responsibility, Inclusivity, Safety, and Empathy (RISE) shape our interactions, decisions, and the way we foster a supportive community.
